Daniel Lever owns A1 kitchens and Cabinetmaking in Partnership with his wife Glenda.
Daniel loves trout fishing and and recently has found time to get back into slot car racing, an interest he followed during most of his youth and early 20,s.
Daniel completed his Apprenticeship in 1982 and by age 25 was running his own Kitchen and cabinetmaking business known as D J E Lever Cabinetmaking. His keen eye for detail and reliability has always been his trademark and still is - along with his extensive cabinetmaking knowledge. This is the reason why customers return time and time again. Daniels interest in modern computerized woodworking machinery has led him to put together an efficient workshop that can take heavy workloads with ease when needed. This has helped grow a steady client base that know reliability is a must.
Glenda Lever, owner director, Office Manager, Kitchen Design consultant and colour specialist. Glenda Joined the Business 12 years ago and completed a Interior Design course in 2001 to compliment the services provided by A1 Kitchens & Cabinetmaking. Glenda loves to keep in contact with their 6 Grandchildren and enjoys gardening especially growing organic vegetables. Glenda keeps up with all the modern trends in products and colours and fully understands all the traditional styles also. Glenda happily provides the clients with free colour consulting and Interior design advice.
Michael Rhodes, Qualified Cabinetmaker, Workshop foreman, CNC Operator & Installation specialist . Michael grew up in the UK and has traveled extensively and now makes New Zealand his home along with his wife Kate who is a school teacher. Michael is a keen sports person and belongs to a local soccer team and enjoys surfing & snow boarding when he can.
Denny Kota, Denny has trained with A1 kitchens & Cabinetmaking to become a confident cabinet assembler and installer. Denny is from Vanuatu and has now made NewZealand his home. Denny is a keen amateur boxer and loves a game of soccer. Denny and his kiwi wife Dawn have 3 Children. A son & daughter who were born in New Zealand and one son recently adopted from Vanuatu.
